Facebook Fan Page

In an effort to expand my viewership, I’ve started a facebook fan page. This way, anybody on facebook can still be connected to my website. I will have updates, discussions, as well as various other items so everyone can interact with eachother. Call it a social experiment if you will; an extension of esvienne. So please! If you have facebook, take  a looksie at that little box of goodness on the right and join my fan page! It would mean a lot to me. I can get constructive criticism as well as suggestions through there.

Yes!

Did a fun photoshoot. You know where to find the pictures!

My first attempt at "art"

While I am in no means a designer, when I have an assignment to get done, I evidently magically pick up the ‘I can kind of design, I hope people like what I made!’ gene. I designed this print below, and while it’s not picasso, it has a meaning behind it. Read the post below please. All money that is donated for these prints (which will be 8×11.. not sure what paper yet, I have to run over to the store first and get more information) will be going directly to new hope for kids, for Edwin’s wish. Come on! Do a good deed :) It won’t kill ya! Although.. I’ll know you’re the devil if you make a donation and spontaneously burst into flames. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen to anyone, okay? We’ll make that something to NOT aim for.

ANYWAYS! Please take a look at my digital version, and if you feel so inclined to donate so I can send you a physical print (signed of course! Not that it matters, because all my signature is good for is free coffee at dunkin donuts/starbucks. You may have to give them a thumbprint scan. Not sure how their authorization tools are being implemented…. also, not sure who understood what I just said. You get a cookie if you do!)

Remember! I’m not pressuring you to sell organs on the blackmarket to donate hundreds to me, just donate even a dollar and I’ll send you one. Actually, the aforementioned joke was probably not a very kind thing to say, because evidently there is a blackmarket for organs… look it up.

TA DA!!!!! Email me (svn@knights.ucf.edu) if you want a physical print! I’m not sure why it looks squished on here, but I can assure you it’s perfectly in proportion. Thanks. Bye :)

I'm still alive!

So I’ve totally bailed out on the whole writing thing for the past week or two. Not really for any reason- I still intend on procuring up a wonderful entry, it’s just that between having my wisdom teeth out, the boyfriend, our friends from miami, riding and working out, and not to mention all my summer class work, my brain has kind of been on hiatus from any kind of free thinking.

I’m also working on forming my own website so I can integrate my blog and photography and other fantastic items on there, but I don’t like what I originally did (and wordpress is amazingly annoying to get on there, so I may have to make a new one rather than integrate all this onto there) so I have to redesign everything. I bought my domain name and have a host, so… if I build it, it will come :)

I just wanted to let everyone who reads this know that I haven’t abandoned it. My dad is awesome and ordered me new scientist magazine (which shockingly comes every week and has years and years of online archive goodness to scroll through) which is another reason I haven’t written. I’m searching for something to jump out to write about, but my mind is just really cloudy right now.

I *might* have good news soon. I’ll let you in on it if I get it :)

Me intro page rocks.

I decided to make a website (which I poured all my little effort in to for a day and then I got sidetracked) and I was working on designing some logos for the intro page. My header up there currently (The pink esvienne one) is one I designed and intend on using. If I decided to change it already (which really isn’t that far-fetched seeing as I have color and design ADD) the image is here-

– btw. this genius blog layout doesn’t expand for larger images, so I didn’t actually make this uneven, it just got cut off. To see the picture in all it’s glory, please click it.–

In actuality, the logo I designed in illustrator is WAY cooler x 1 million because there’s a bunch of transparency going on. Apparently when you convert an illustrator file to a jpeg to use as  header, it eliminates all those nifty effects. But alas, you can see the transparency awesomeness when I put up my website. Esvienne, by the way, is a cute little name I made up. My initials are S.V.N… ready? Say those fast. svn. svn. essss.viiii.eeeennnnee. Yah so there you have it. The history behind my mysterious (seemingly, but not so much) name. Also, if anybody decides to steal my header (which I don’t know why on earth anybody would think it was cool enough to thieve) I’ll know it’s mine and they won’t. BAHAHAHAHA. Genius at it’s finest. Oh wait… they probably read this blog… so I guess this blog is kind of an anti-theft device for my header.

WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MANWICH TIME!
